Elon Musk lifts the spirit of Ukraine with Starlink Internet
  • Elon Musk grants Starlink access to Ukrainians
  • SpaceX has a constellation of satellite internet called Starlink.
  • Elon Musk is thanked by the Ukrainian Vice President for his assistance.

Elon Musk, a billionaire entrepreneur provided Ukrainians access to Starlink satellite Internet services. Starlink is a satellite internet constellation operated by Musk’s aerospace manufacturing enterprise SpaceX. This was in response to Mykhailo Federorov, the Vice Prime Minister and President of Ukraine.

“Starlink now operates in Ukraine. More terminals en route,” said Elon Musk in response to the Vice Prime Minister’s request on Twitter (NYSE:). The SpaceX founder also tweeted that the company was sending Ukrainians the necessary equipment required to use Starlink’s services. Starlink’s low-orbit satellites provide high-speed broadband internet, however, access to the network requires the installation of a special antenna and modem.

It was on Thursday that Russia launched a vicious military attack on Ukrainian soil, undeterred by the world’s repeated pleas for peace. Unforgiveable harm has been done by the Russian Army since that time. A series of major disruptions in internet service over the past few days have also caused fear for communication.

At this point, Musk’s help is a godsend for the people of Ukraine. Fedorov expressed his gratitude to Musk in a tweet and also extended thanks to the Ukrainian Ambassador to the US, Oksana Markarova, for the “swift decisions related to authorization and certification that allowed us to activate the Starlink.”

The Ukrainian people stand tall, fighting with all their might against a superpower amid plunging hellfire and snowfall. The world has supported their efforts because of this indomitable spirit. Musk is just one of many great people who have listened to people afflicted by war.
