REUTERS/Evgenia NovozheninaMOSCOW (Reuters – Russia wants to reach an agreement with Ukraine in talks, Russian negotiator Vladimir Medinsky stated on Monday. This comes as Russian officials are preparing to meet at the border.
Medinsky indicated that negotiations were scheduled to start at 12:00 p.m. GMT (0900 GMT). Russia’s isolation in politics and economy grew Monday after its troops met fierce resistance in Ukraine’s capital, and in other European cities.
