LONDON (Reuters), Several major Western nations have made moves to block Russian banks out of the main international payments system. In addition, they have imposed restrictions on Russia’s central banking to reduce its capacity to provide support for the rouble as well as finance Moscow’s war endeavors.

According to the Central Bank of Russia data, here is the breakdown of Russia’s reserves. The data on the right-hand graph is “the geographic structure of assets by the place of residency of counterparties and issuers or securities security holders”.
