Airbnb to house up to 100,000 Ukrainian refugees -Breaking

(Reuters] -House rental company Airbnb Inc stated Monday that Airbnb.org, its non-profit arm, would provide temporary housing free of charge to refugees fleeing Ukraine.

Chief Executive Brian Officer Brian Chesky and Joe Gebbia, the chairman of Airbnb.org, have sent https://news.airbnb.com/help-ukraine letters to leaders of Poland, Romania, Germany and Hungary offering help to house the refugees. These countries have borders with Ukraine.

After Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, at least 300,000. The bloc must prepare for many more refugees, top EU officials and French officials stated.

Airbnb.org provides short-term accommodation for those in crisis. It will also work with government to address any country’s needs, including providing long-term stay options.

Airbnb and the Airbnb Refugee Fund will fund these stays.
