ZURICH (Reuters). Credit Suisse (SIX 🙂 Tuesday announced the three key appointments of its Asset Management business. They will now operate from a new organizational structure starting April 1.

In November, the Swiss bank revealed a new structure to control its investment bankers. It also plans to invest money in wealth management. This is in an effort to end a culture of free will that cost it billions through a series of scandals.

Credit Suisse Asset Management spokesperson said that the company has made two internal hires as well as an external hiring decision on Tuesday.

Colin Fitzgerald is joining Invesco as the global head distribution. Jo McCaffrey departs PineBridge Investments in order to assume the role of global head of products. According to the spokesperson, Filippo Rima will be promoted within the company in order for him to become global head investment.

A spokesperson stated that the new global functions would help increase asset management distribution capabilities and expand Europe and Asia footprints, as well as boost innovation at intersection of distribution and investments.

This new role in investment will allow for more sustainable investments.

Credit Suisse announced the appointment of regional leaders in its division and reiterated its goal to achieve net asset growth exceeding 4% per year by 2024.

Credit Suisse announced Monday that its Private Banking Switzerland will be part its Swiss business starting April 1, rather than being part of the new wealth management unit.
