Investing.com – Germany stocks were lower after the close on Tuesday, as losses in the , and sectors led shares lower.

Frankfurt closed with the Index dropping 3.8500%, hitting a new 52 week low. The index also lost 2.7900%. And the index suffered a loss of 1.5100%.

They were the top performers at the session Symrise AG Inh. O.N. (DE:) – which rose 4.2700%, or 4.55000019 point to trade at 111.05000305 by the close. Meanwhile, Beiersdorf AG O.N. (DE) added 3.1600% to 2.85999990 points, ending at 93.2799987878. Sartorius AG VZO O.N. In late trade, (DE:) saw a 1.9500% increase or 7.69999981points to 401.89999390.

These were the worst performers of the session. Continental AG O.N. (DE:), fell 9.0000%, or 7.67000008 point to trade at 69.12999725 by the close. Zalando SE (DE) fell 9.2500% or 5.51000023 to finish at 54.06999969. Airbus Group SE(DE:), was down 9.1500%/ 10.53999996 to 104.62000275.

Top performers in the MDAX were Rheinmetall AG (DE) rose 17.0100%, to 156.85000610 Scout24 AG (DE:), which was 4.4100% higher to settle at 54.50000000 Aurubis AG (DE:), which increased 0.5200% and closed at 105.59999847.

Sartorius AG VZO O.N. was the top performer on the TecDAX. (DE) – 1.9500% increase to 401.89999390 Nordex SE O.N. (DE:), which rose 1.2600% to settle on 16.11000061, and Carl Zeiss Meditec AG(DE:), which gained 0.5000%. They closed at 141.55000305.

Jenoptik AG was among the worst-performing companies, falling 7.7700% and 29.89999962 respectively in late trading. Eckert & Ziegler AG O.N. O.N. TeamViewer AG (DE:), which fell 5.5700% to 13.56000042 as of the close.

On the Frankfurt Stock Exchange, falling stocks outnumbered advancing by 537-171 and 57 respectively.

Continental AG O.N. Shares fell (DE:), fell to 52 week lows, falling 9.9900% (7.67000008) to 69.12999725. Zalando SE shares (DE) dropped to 52 week lows, falling 9.2500% (5.51000023 to 53.6999969). Rheinmetall AG (DE) shares rose to new highs, up 17.0100% (22.79999924 to 155.68500061). AUTO1 Group SE(DE:) shares fell 8.7500% to 11.78999996. Aurubis AG’s shares (DE:), rose to new heights, with a gain of 0.5200% or 0.555000001 to 105.59999847. Uniper SE (DE) shares fell 52 weeks to their lowest level; down 8.900%, 2.30500007 and 26.19499969
