How Target plans to keep growing sales

Target claimed Tuesday that it is capable of driving continued growth. The company shared optimistic forecasts for the future year. Target expects revenue to grow in the single-digits, and adjusted earnings per shares to increase by the single digits. Refinitiv said that this outlook exceeded analysts’ expectations.
The company has five strategies it plans to implement to meet its projected projections.
Converting shops into mini-malls

The sales rates in complementing categories have also increased when stores include one of these Ulta mini shops.
Henington also shared an alternative way stores could look like malls. They will offer ear-piercings. Through a partnership between Rowan and piercing companies, about 200 places already have their ears pierced. More locations are on the way, she stated.

Some shoppers may have used curbside pick-up to get around strangers or reduce their risk of contracting Covid. Target is now using the popularity of curbside pick-up to make it stand out from its competitors and get more customers to shop, whether they are buying hot coffee, wine, or a bottle.
Target has seen its digital business nearly triple in two years. More than half of the company’s online sales come from its same-day services — which include Drive Up, its curbside pickup option; Order Pickup, its in-store retrieval of online purchases; and Shipt, its home delivery service.
Customers will have more reasons to curbside pick up, the company says.
