U.S. tells agencies they can ease federal employee mask rules -Breaking

WASHINGTON, (Reuters) – The White House informed federal agencies that they could drop the COVID-19 requirement that visitors and employees wear masks inside federal buildings throughout much of the country late Monday. This was according to a document Reuters obtained.

New guidance from the White House’s Safer Federal Workforce Task Force stated that individuals are not required to wear masks inside federal facilities if they live in areas with low COVID-19 levels.

The White House instructed agencies to review federal worker testing and masking rules by March 4.
