Yellen tells EU’s Dombrovskis ‘further strong measures’ needed on Russia -Treasury -Breaking

WASHINGTON, (Reuters) – U.S. Treasury Secret Janet Yellen told Valdis Dombrovskis, Executive Vice President of the European Commission that they needed to work together on “further robust measures” as a response to Russia’s invading Ukraine following unprecedented sanctions.

“Secretary Yellen affirmed the United States’ support for Ukraine’s sovereignty, working together with our partners to hold Russia accountable,” the Treasury said in a statement after a call between the U.S. and EU officials.
