Apple announces March event where new budget 5G iPhone expected


Apple invites you to its March 2022 Event


AppleOn Tuesday, the company sent invitations out to media to an event scheduled for March 8. It’s expected that it will announce a low-cost iPhone model.

This event with the slogan “Peek Performance” will be live streamed on YouTube and Apple’s website. Apple’s launches events are now virtual from the beginning of the Covid-19 pandemic, which began in March 2020.

Apple will hold the launch event for its first time since Oct 2021 when they unveiled new MacBook Pro laptops. Apple’s spring event was held last April, featuring new iPads with premium features and an iMac computer.

Apple may announce a new, low-cost iPhone, with 5G connectivity and a fingerprint scanner, along with a mid-range iPad. media and analyst reports.

Apple’s current low-cost iPhone is the iPhone SE. This model was released in spring 2020 and costs $399. The iPhone SE is Apple’s most recent model and features the Touch ID fingerprint sensor. 

Bloomberg predicts that the iPad Air will get an update with the release of the new iPad. This device, which was last updated October 2020, retails at $599.

Apple might also release iOS 15, the latest iPhone software. This version includes many new features such as the possibility to use facial recognition to unlock your device even if you’re wearing a mask or accepting contactless credit cards payments.

Apple’s spring launches of devices are not as important for the company as its fall launches. These launch reveal more high-end, pricier models before the holiday season. Apple holds an annual WWDC developer conference every June, during which it occasionally releases new hardware.
