Neste to team up with U.S. oil company Marathon to produce renewable fuels -Breaking

HELSINKI, (Reuters) – Neste, a Finnish refiner said Tuesday that it formed a joint venture in California with Marathon Petroleum Corp (NYSE) to produce clean fuels.

Marathon Petroleum and Neste jointly announced that on Tuesday, they would convert Marathon Petroleum’s Martinez California refinery to a facility for producing renewable fuels.

Peter Vanacker (Chief Executive at Neste) stated that Neste would be the first global producer of renewable energy with productions in North America, Asia, Europe and Asia thanks to the California investments.
