Ralph Lauren senior executive Smith resigns after probe into improper conduct -Breaking

(NYSE:) stated Wednesday that Howard Smith, its chief commercial officer, would resign following an investigation into whether he was in violation of the code.
Patrice Louvet, CEO and founder of Ralph Lauren, sent a message out to his employees stating that the board at the retailer had initiated an independent investigation into Smith’s allegations.
A request to get more information on violations was not answered by the company. Smith didn’t respond immediately to a request for comments.
Smith is a twenty-year retail veteran. He assumed his current role in 2019, and was responsible to oversee the company’s retail channels, and its “go-tomarket” strategy.
Effective April 2, his resignation will take effect
