France stock lower after close of trade. CAC 40 is down 1.84%

Investing.com – France stocks were lower after the close on Thursday, as losses in the , and sectors led shares lower.

The index fell by 1.84% at the Paris close, hitting a 6-months-low.

These were the best performers of the session Thales (PA): The PA rose by 3.79%, or 3.90 points, to close at 106.80. Meanwhile, BNP Paribas SA (PA.:) increased 1.59% or 0.80 to 50.76. AXA SA: (PA.:) was up 0.71% (0.17 points) to 23.49 in late trading.

These were the worst performers of the session. Publicis Groupe SA (PA) fell 6.7% or 3.78 points at close to 52.68. Engie SA (PA) fell 6.26%, or 0.76 point to close at 11.32 Renault SA (PA) fell 5.87%, or 1.51 points, to 24.20.

These were the top performers on SBF 120 Technip Energies B.V. (PA) rose 13.64% at 10.00; CGG SA was up 7.01% at 0.77; Gaztransport et Technonigaz SA at PA: gained 6.35% at close at 91.30.

These were the worst performers Faurecia (PA:), which fell 8.53% to 27,01.01 in late-trade. Elior Group (PA) lost 8.24% and settled at 3.47 Ubisoft Entertainment (PA) was at 44.13, down 6.6% from the previous close.

Elior Group shares (PA:), fell 8.24% to 52 week lows, falling 0.31 to 3.47. Gaztransport et Technigaz SA’s shares rose to 52-week peak levels; an increase of 6.35%, or 5.45 to 91.30.

The April delivery of Gold Futures was up 0.2%, or 11.90, to $1.934.20 per troy ounce. Other commodities traded included Crude oil, which fell 0.81 percent to reach $109.79/barrel, and the May Brent crude oil contract, which fell 1.02 percent to trade at $111.91/barrel.

EUR/USD fell 0.62% at 1.11 while EUR/GBP was unchanged at 0.07% at 0.83.

US Dollar Index Futures were up 0.4% to 97.84
