WASHINGTON (Reuters] – A congressional committee that was investigating the January 6, 2021 attack on Washington’s Capitol said Wednesday that Donald Trump could have been involved in criminal conduct as he tried to overturn the results of his election loss.

” ()The Committee has evidence and other information that supports its belief that Trump and his associates may have been involved in criminal or fraudulent acts,” it stated in a court filing.
