Canada tells citizens to leave Russia due to unpredictable security situation -Breaking

OTTAWA (Reuters), – Canada urged its citizens Saturday to abandon Russia, saying that “while commercial opportunities are still available”, security conditions in Russia were uncertain and could worsen without notice.

Flight availability is extremely restricted. “The ability of our consular service in Russia by our embassy may be severely restricted,” Canada’s foreign ministry stated in a travel advisory. Canada, as many Western countries have imposed severe sanctions on Russia in response to the invasion by Ukraine.
