AMC Achieves Third-Highest Attended Weekend in Two Years -Breaking

Investing.com — AMC Entertainment Holdings Inc (NYSE:) recorded its third-highest attended weekend since movie theatres reopened in the summer of 2020, the company said Monday.
AMC shares still fell by more than 8.8% during the day.
AMC’s Thursday-Sunday sales of more than 4,000,000 tickets worldwide were due to the “successful opening weekend of THE BATMAN (W.B. and DC)”
This weekend’s attendance was higher than the annual average for 2019, and 2020.
AMC claimed that AMC held a market share exceeding 29% in the US for THE BATMAN, and the three top theatres were based upon this press release. BatmanAll AMCs box office. AMCs were also responsible for 8 of the 10 top locations.
The company also recorded the third highest number of popcorn sales since its reopening. In 2021, two of its key strategic location acquisitions saw large attendance.
