London Metal Exchange cancels nickel trades after price doubles -Breaking

LONDON (Reuters] – All nickel trades cancelled by London Metal Exchange (LME) on Tuesday after prices increased rapidly in a matter hours. This prompted the exchange to stop trading.

In a letter to members, it stated “The current circumstances are unprecedented.” Market participants have faced a variety of problems due to the suspension of nickel markets. These issues must be resolved.
