OPEC meet with U.S. shale executives at U.S. energy conference as oil prices skyrocket -Breaking

HOUSTON (Reuters). OPEC officials met Monday with senior executives of top U.S. shale oil firms at a high-ranking U.S. energy conference. The meeting was held as prices for energy rose because of supply issues.
As buyers shunned the cargoes of No. 1 oil exporter Russia, crude oil hit an all-time high of $139 per barrel on Monday. 2 oil exporter Russia. Earlier, Mohammad Barkindo (OPEC Secretary General) stated at the CERAWeek Energy conference that OPEC couldn’t offset a Russian ban.
EQT Corp (NYSE : Toby Rice, Chief Executive Hess Corp A witness at Reuters claims that John Hess, CEO of (NYSE:), attended the dinner in The Grove near the CERAWeek conference venue. This was at most the fourth meeting between OPEC representatives and U.S. shale oil producer officials.
Barkindo’s spokesperson did not respond to our request for comment. The spokesperson for Hess who was with its CEO did not respond to a request.
