Tesla sold 56,515 China-made vehicles in February

BEIJING (Reuters) –U.S. manufacturer of electric vehicles Tesla (NASDAQ) Inc sold 56 515 China-made automobiles in February. The China Passenger Car Association reported on Tuesday.

Tesla has sold 59.845 China-made Model 3 sedans since 2019 and Model Y sports-utility vehicles at Shanghai’s Model 3 plant.

Chinese NEV maker Nio Inc (NYSE:) Inc sold 6,131 cars in February. That’s 9.9% higher year-over-year. Li Auto produced 8,414 cars and Xpeng(NYSE:) Inc 6225, both increasing year over year by 265.8% & 180%.

According to CPCA passenger car sales rose 4.7% from a previous year in China, reaching 1.27 Million in February.
