EU working on new sanctions on about 100 Russians, Borrell says -Breaking

STRASBURG (Reuters) – The European Union’s top diplomat stated that the EU is preparing a fresh round of asset and travel freezes for some 100 Russians in response to Moscow’s invasion. A decision may be made later Wednesday.

Borrell stated that member states were working on sanctions. He said about 100 individuals responsible for different levels of government. Without giving further details, he said he was hopeful for an agreement “by tomorrow’s close”.
