The index gained 7.07% at the Paris close.
Veolia Environnement VE SA, which gained 12.26% (or 3.15 points) to close at 28.84, was the best performer of the session. Stellantis NNV (PA) added 11.90% to reach 14.50. Societe Generale Late trade saw SA (PA) rise by 11.53%, or 2.43 points, to 23.50
These were the worst performers of the session. Thales (PA:) fell by 4.24%, or 4.90 points, to close at 110.80. TotalEnergies SE (+1.07%) climbed 0.49 to 46.23. Orange SA (+2.03%) jumped 0.21 to 10.48.
These were the top performers on SBF 120 Faurecia (PA:), which rose 17.19%, to 26.11. Accor SA (PA) was up 14.10% and settled at 27.02 Valeo SA (PA) gained 13.48% and closed at 15.91
Dassault Aviation SA, (PA:), was the worst performer. It fell 5.57% to 125.40 in late-trade. Neoen SA (PA :), which fell 4.51%, settled at 36.82. Thales (PA :), which dropped 4.24% at 110.80 by the end.
The Paris Stock Exchange saw rising stocks surpassing declining stocks by 513 percent to 95 percent, and 60 percent respectively.
The implied volatility index of CAC 40 options was at a 52-week low of 0.00%, or 18.96.
The April delivery of Gold Futures was lower by 2.64%, or 54.00, to $1989.30 per troy ounce. In commodities trading, crude oil fell 9.6%, or 11.83, to $111.87 per barrel. The May Brent oil contract dropped 10.40%, or 13.31, to trade at $114.67 per barrel.
EUR/USD rose by 1.77%, to 1.11; EUR/GBP rose by 1.19% at 0.84.
US Dollar Index Futures were down by 1.22% to 97.87.
