According to the Labor Department’s monthly Job Openings & Labor Turnover Survey (JOLTS) report, job openings, which are a measure for labor demand, fell by 185,000 to 11.26 million the day before. The December data was updated to reflect a record of 11.448million job openings, instead of 10.925 million.
