Chinese tech firm Baidu will drop 20,000 NFTs and launch a Marketplace- Baidu (NASDAQ) will airdrop 20,000 NFTs for free in three rounds.
- The NFTs will feature nostalgic Chinese cartoon characters, including the popular “Talking Tom Cat.”
- Baidu plans to launch NFT market after the giveaway.
Baidu, China’s biggest tech company, will give away more than 20,000 non-fee NFTs in advance of its March marketplace launch.
These NFTs will be distributed by the Chinese tech giant in three rounds with nostalgia-inducing Chinese cartoon characters.
On March 10 and March 12, 8,888 “Talking Tom Cat” NFTs will be sent to netizens, respectively. Talking Tom Cat, the name of the beloved talking virtual pet game for children, is also known as Talking Tom Cat.
That last round is slated for March 16, coinciding with Ali the Fox’s 16th birthday. In celebration of the famed Chinese cartoon character’s date of birth, 3,160 exclusive Ali NFTs will be given for free.
