Multiple reports claim that Major League Baseball has reached an agreement with the Players Union to a tentative labor arrangement. This would allow spring training to start and Opening Day to be held in April.

After the parties failed to agree on a new collective bargaining deal, the owners imposed a lockout that would last 99 days.

Original plans had the season to begin on March 31. The owners cancelled last week’s season after failing to agree with players on a due date.

According to various news sources, the season will begin on April 7.

Sports news networks reportedSpring training can be reported to by players as soon as Friday.

MLB owners said Wednesday night that they will cancel additional games and move Opening Day to April 14 if there is no deal.
