Shell and BP hold back from German diesel sales on shortage fears -Breaking

LONDON, (Reuters) – Oil giants BP and Shell have resisted offering spot diesel cargoes on the market over the last two weeks. Two traders with direct knowledge said they were concerned about possible shortages in Germany.

The German fuels and energy organization said Thursday that the domestic supply could be sustained currently but that diesel supplies and gasoline are decreasing in quantity.
