UAE announces new law to regulate cryptocurrencies and non-financial transactions

Through a Twitter message, Her Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum (Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai), stated that he approved the Dubai Virtual Assets Regulatory Authority.

Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid in his tweet mentions that this is a step that establishes the UAE’s position in the sector. He says that the Authority will work with all relevant entities in order to provide maximum transparency for investors.
