There was a massive inflow of donations to crypto during the Russia-Ukraine conflict. Numerous companies and cryptocurrency have contributed significant amounts of crypto to Ukraine’s support.

To add, a popular video subscription platform — Only Fans — donated 500 ETH which nearly equals $1.3 million. The platform donated this amount to Ukraine’s Decentralized Autonomous Organization (DAO).

Ami Gan, CEO of OnlyFans spoke about the effects of war on Ukraine’s people and OnlyFans creators in Ukraine. Further, she added:

We felt compelled to help Ukraine because of our personal connections to Ukraine.

According to various media sources, OnlyFans said that the donation is a part of the company’s charitable effort to help Ukraine. Leonid Radivinsky, owner of OnlyFans Ukraine-America Branch, is leading this effort.

According to the company, it had sent $5 million in aid for humanitarian projects in Ukraine. An additional $1 million was donated by the company on March 15.

Pussy Riot, a Russian artist collective, and Trippy Labs NFT studio formed the DAO.

Ukraine DAO recently raised money through NFT sales to support the Ukrainian government. Crowdfunded 2,188 Ethereum worth $6.1 Million.

BTC and ETH have been contributing large amounts of crypto money to Ukraine since the outbreak of war in Ukraine. According to recent reports, the amount donated is estimated at $100 million.

OnlyFans was founded in 2016 and is an online subscription service for London-based content. It allows subscribers to access content and creators to make money.
