WASHINGTON (Reuters] – A senior U.S. defence official stated on Friday that Russian strikes in Ukraine during the past 24hrs were aimed at preventing Ukrainian forces from using their airfields.
An official spoke under anonymity and could not give details about the use of targeted airfields by Ukraine’s military airforce.
