France to offer fuel rebate to cushion soaring prices

PARIS, (Reuters) – France has announced a 0.15 Euro ($0.16) rebate per litre for transport fuel to aid drivers in coping with rising prices. This was stated by Jean Castex, Prime Minister of France, during an interview with Le Parisien.

The government will spend just above 2 billion euros on the four-month-long measure that began April 1.
