SpaceX CEO Elon Musk has said that the “holy grail” to making human life multiplanetary lies in our ability to make a completely reusable rocket system that can carry a massive amount of equipment, supplies — and people — deep into space.

It Two stainless-steel components make up the vehicle, including the Super Heavy booster and Starship spacecraft. This vehicle can carry cargo of more than 100 tonnes and crew members per launch.

It is not easy to lift all this weight from the ground. SpaceX has 33 Raptor engines that are used for boosters. SpaceX also includes seven more engines to the craft.

Investors could find the project attractive. According to McKinsey & Co., private funding in space-related companies topped $10 billion in 2021 — a tenfold increase over the past decade. There is some evidence to suggest that this trend may be changing.
