Berlin wants to buy 35 Lockheed F-35 fighter jets, def min tells parliament -Breaking

BERLIN, (Reuters) – Berlin hopes to acquire 35 F35 fighter jets designed by Lockheed Martin (NYSE:) To replace the Tornado aircraft it has been using, Germany’s defence ministry informed parliament Monday in a document that Reuters saw.

The document stated that “In a preliminary step, we will submit a formal request to the U.S. Government for the purchase F-35A” in order get clarification regarding delivery timelines as well as options for cooperation with training and maintenance.
