Pete Davidson will go to space on Blue Origin’s 4th human flight

Pete Davidson, live from outer space

Blue Origin is a private spaceflight firm that was founded by Blue Origin. The latest crew will include the “Saturday Night Live” star. AmazonFounding founder Jeff Bezos.

28-year old Davidson will participate in the fourth human flight for the New Shepards program and the 20th overall flight. Blue Origin announced this Monday.

This comedian and actor is the second celebrity who will be taking a trip out to the edge of space.

The flight takes passengers to the edge at 65 miles above the earth, giving them about 4 minutes of weightlessness.

A six-person crew will include Marty Allen from Party America, Marc Hagle (philanthropist) and Sharon Hagle (wife), who founded SpaceKids Global. Jim Kitchen is an explorer and professor at the University of North Carolina. Dr. George Nield is the president of Commercial Space Technologies. He was previously the Flight Integration Office manager for NASA’s spaceship program.

Liftoff is set for March 23, at 8:30 AM from Blue Origin’s Launch Site One, West Texas. The flight will also be live streamed on-demand. Blue Origin’s website.

Blue Origin inaugural flight came in July when Bezos and his brother were joined by a pair of other passengers in the high-profile launch.

Every crew member will be carrying a postcard about space to Blue Origin’s Club for the Future, which encourages young people to study STEM careers.
