NEW DELHI, Reuters – Amazon.com Inc. (NASDAQ:) placed ads Tuesday in Indian newspapers accusing Future Retail and Reliance (NASDAQ.) of fraud following the takeover of many Future stores by Reliance.

Amazon challenged the proposed $3.4 Billion sale of Future Group’s retail assets, which was sold to Reliance. This case is currently being heard by the Indian Supreme Court.

Amazon claimed that these actions were done clandestinely by making frauds on Indian constitutional courts.

Future and Reliance have not yet responded to my request for comment.
