Austin Mayor Steve Adler has proposed two initiatives to embrace the potential of blockchain technology, crypto payments, and what it can do for his community.

The first initiative aims to ensure that Texas’s fourth-largest city Promoting the benefits of blockchain technologies and “promotes equity, diversity, accessibility, and inclusion” in the technological ecosystem. May Adler instructed the city manager, to investigate how Web3 and Blockchain could be used in the 20 areas of smart contracts, supply chains management, insurance, arts, media and fundraising, as well as identity verification.
