(Reuters) – “Saturday Night Live” comic Pete Davidson is confirmed to be the next celeb in line for a trip to the edge. This was made possible by Jeff Bezos’ Blue Origin astrotourism company. His suborbital flight will take place next week.

Blue Origin has announced that Kim Kardashian is a 28-year-old comic and boyfriend of reality TV star Kim Kardashian on Monday. She will be joining five other paying customers as part of the fourth commercial flight for Blue Origin since last summer.

Davidson was not available for comment immediately on his choice. Blue Origin representatives were reported to have held discussions earlier in the month.

These are Marty Allen, an angel investor, Marc Hagle (real estate veteran) and Sharon Hagle (wife), University of North Carolina Professor Jim Kitchen, and George Nield (founder-president of Commercial Space Technologies).

Blue Origin’s fully-autonomous spacecraft New Shepard (6 stories tall) is scheduled to liftoff from Van Horn in Texas on March 23.

From liftoff to landing, the flight is estimated to take just over 10 minutes. Crew members will feel a short period of weightlessness as they reach the top of the suborbital joyride at 350,000ft (106km) above the ground. Then, they will return to Earth and land on the desert floor via parachute.

Davidson, a nine-year “SNL” cast member who co-wrote and starred in the semi-autobiographical film “The King of Staten Island,” is the latest of several celebrities chosen as non-paying promotional Blue Origin passengers.

The 90-year old actor of “Star Trek”, William Shatner, was the first person to go to space. His October flight made him the oldest man to do so. Strahan is also a co-host on “Good Morning America” and he’s a former NFL superstar. Strahan flew December 12th with Laura Shepard Churchley (74) who is the oldest daughter of NASA pioneer Alan Shepard (for whom Blue Origin’s rocketship is named).

Bezos accompanied his brother Mark Bezos and Oliver Daeman on Blue Origin’s inaugural crewed mission to space. The flight was launched in July 2013. Wally Funk (an octogenarian woman aviator) and Oliver Daeman (an 18-year old Dutch high school graduate, who are both the beneficiaries of a $28 Million auction sweepstakes).
