Allison Herren Lee is the Securities and Exchange Commission Commissioner. She announced in June that she will be retiring from her position.
Lee announced the news on Tuesday. She will be continuing in this role until her successor is confirmed. After being sworn into office in 2019, the SEC commissioner will continue her term until her successor is confirmed.
