Police arrest suspect in shootings of homeless in Washington, DC and NY -Breaking

WASHINGTON (Reuters). Earlier Tuesday morning, law enforcement officials arrested a suspect in relation to the shootings at homeless people in Washington DC and New York. This was announced by Washington’s police department via Twitter (NYSE:).

The suspect was taken into custody by law enforcement in Washington DC. According to the Metropolitan Police Department, he was being interviewed at Our Homicide Branch. However, it did not give any further details.

Authorities were searching for an lone gunman, who according to forensic evidence was tied by authorities to five homeless men shot in two cities.
