Investing.com — Netflix Inc (NASDAQ:) said Wednesday it will be trialing a new feature that will mean subscribers will pay extra if they share the account with people outside their household.

Members in Chile, Costa Rica and Peru will have the opportunity to test this new feature.

These features allow Premium members to create sub-accounts that can be used for two persons they don’t live with. Each of the sub-accounts has their own profile and personalized recommendations. They can also login and change passwords.

Sub-account owners can then set up an account to save their viewing history, My List and personal recommendations.

Netflix’s Wednesday session was closed up by 4%. This is in addition to the Tuesday 3.85% increase.
