China says to protect rights of its telecoms firms after U.S. move -Breaking

BEIJING (Reuters] – China has reacted strongly to a U.S. crackdown of its telecom firms, according to the commerce ministry. The move came after a U.S. regulator revoked authorizations for Pacific Networks and ComNet units from offering U.S. telecommunications services.

Gao Feng, a Ministry spokesperson, stated at a press conference that China will take all necessary measures to protect the legal rights of its companies after Wednesday’s vote by the Federal Communications Commission to revoke the authorization.
