Maserati, a luxury auto manufacturer, announced Thursday that it will offer an electric version of all its models by 2025. Its first offering is the GranTurismo EEV, which has more than 1,200 HP.

Davide Grasso (CEO Maserati) referred to Thursday’s EV conversion, which includes a goal of going all-electric in 2030, as a “defining point” for the nearly century-old automaker.
Nearly all the major automakers have plans for EVs, particularly luxury ones like Maserati to account for a large portion of their total sales by 2030.
The four-seat GranTurismo was shown in preview images released on Thursday. It features a sleek exterior design.
Maserati has not yet revealed the expected price of its new EVs. The starting pricing of its existing models is between $78,000 and more than $200,000.
