Bored Ape Yacht Club’s (BAYC), has publicly revealed the ERC-20 governance token ApeCoin and utility token ApeCoin (APE), which marks an evolution from profile-picture project (PFPs), to “culture, gaming, and commerce” within Web3 sphere.

ApeCoin, a decentralized autonomous organisation (DAO) from Yuga Labs has developed the asset and launched it. The ApeCoin tenured council committee, consisting of Alexis Ohanian and Amy Wu as well as Maaria Bajwa and Yat Siu, has also been established to supervise the DAO’s growth.
