BERLIN (Reuters). Germany’s Economy Ministry has launched an investigation into Bosch, an engineering company that was accused of violating an export ban for goods that could be used both for civilian and military purposes. Magazine Der Spiegel reported Friday.

This case involves EU sanctions which have restrained exports of dual use goods following Russia’s 2014 annexation.

Bosch earlier this week responded to a report from ARD, in which Dmytrokuleba, Ukraine’s foreign minister claimed that Ukraine had discovered Bosch parts inside Russian military vehicles. Bosch claimed it has not supplied any parts directly to the vehicle manufacturer.
