JPMorgan hires David Miree from Wells Fargo to lead diversity unit

(Reuters) – JPMorgan Chase & Co (NYSE:) has named Wells Fargo (NYSE:) Senior executive David Miree is the global head diversity, equity and inclusion, according to an internal memo that Reuters obtained Monday.
Miree is the latest in a series of changes to organizational structures at Wall Street’s major bank. Miree is a three-decade industry veteran, and was the head of small business customer segments for consumers at Wells Fargo.
Brian Lamb is retiring and he will take over the role of northeast segment leader for middle market banks and specialized industry (MMBSI).
JPMorgan’s MMBSI service caters for mid-sized businesses and municipalities. They also offer advisory and financing services.
The Wall Street giant announced also that Thelma Ferguson will be the vice chair of commercial banking. She was instrumental in the expansion of MMBSI over the past twelve years.
