NikeMonday’s earnings and sales reports for fiscal quarter 3 exceeded analyst estimates. This was due to strong North American demand as shoppers returned to the stores.

In after-hours trade, shares rose by over 4%

This is how Nike performed in its third fiscal quarter, as compared to what Wall Street expected based upon a Refinitiv survey of analysts:

• Earnings per share: Only 87 Cents vs. 71 cents expected
• Revenue:$10.87 Billion vs. $10.59 Billion expected

Nike shares were down 22% as of Monday’s closing market.
