Warren Buffett makes moves

Berkshire Hathaway, which is $848.02 per share and $11.6 billion in cash, announced that Monday morning, it would buy Alleghany insurance company. Conglomerate Berkshire Hathaway stated that the deal was “a multiple of 1.26x Alleghany’s net value at December 31, 2021” and a 16% premium on Alleghany’s average stock price over the past 30 trading days.
