Maserati, an unit of Stellantis(STLA), presented its brand new fully electric Grecale SUV Tuesday in the Grecale Foglore all-electric revolution. The launch of this new model was originally scheduled for November 2013. However, it was delayed by a shortage in global chips.

Grecale Folgore’s size makes it a strong competitor to models such as the BMW iX3 or the Mercedes EQC. Although the Folgore’s interior has yet to be revealed, the company confirmed that Econyl will be extensively used for upholstery.

Folgore’s drive system will generate around 540 bhp, 800 Nm and a maximum range of about 900Nm. However, exact performance numbers and a maximum range have not been established.

Auto manufacturer Luxe Brands stated that the Grecale will soon be offered in full-electric form.

Maserati aims to offer a ˜Folgore full-electric version of each model “ including the MC20 super sport car “ by 2025 and to be entirely full-electric by 2030. GranTurismo is the first Maserati electric vehicle that will debut on the market. It’s also expected to make its debut in 2023.
