BEIJING — No bodies or survivors have yet been found from the China Eastern AirlinesCrash as of Tuesday morning Chinese state media said.

According to the U.S. Federal Aviation Administration, the agency was informed of the accident and would assist with the investigation “if requested.”

China Eastern Airlines stated that it will send workers to the site of the accident and opened a hotline open for relatives. Shortly, shares in Hong Kong were down more than 7% Tuesday morning.
