Storms threaten deep South after tornadoes rip through Texas -Breaking

(Reuters) – The danger of strong thunderstorms and tornadoes loomed above the Deep South, the United States. This Tuesday was a day following the destruction and injuries caused by twisters in the system.
According to the National Weather Service, it was likely to bring down 3 to 5 inches (8 to 13 cm) of rainfall and generate strong winds up to 45 miles per hour. It will sweep through Texas, Louisiana, Mississippi, and Tennessee throughout the day.
For Tuesday morning, the service issued flood, thunderstorm, tornado and high wind advisories to approximately five million residents.
It comes just days after tornadoes decimated homes and businesses in north Texas and central Texas Monday.
The National Weather Service reported that three people were hurt when the tornado destroyed two mobile homes located in Houston. Other minor injuries were sustained by four other victims of the storms that struck Upshur County, eastern Texas.
According to local NBC affiliate, a family of three was rescued from their house in Bowie, Texas, after a tornado struck. One female was taken to the hospital.
Numerous other structures were also damaged around the city of 5,000 which is located approximately 90 miles north of Dallas.
Round Rock was hit with multiple tornadoes that left many homes damaged or in ruin. Round Rock is home to around 120,000 people, about 20 miles west of Austin. Officials confirmed the damage.
