At the World Police Summit, Dubai police announced that they will be using blockchain technology to control crime, specifically cryptocurrency-related crime. Many countries have used cryptocurrency to conceal their money laundering over the years.

Due to rising use of digital asset, Dubai’s government has announced that a virtual-asset law will be implemented on March 9. Also, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed stated the following during that same day:

Today we have approved the Dubai Virtual Assets Regulatory Authority. [This] step establishes the UAE’s position in this sector. All related bodies will be cooperating with the Authority to provide maximum transparency and protection for investors.

Additionally, all digital asset transactions will be monitored by the virtual asset law. The new virtual asset law will monitor all cryptocurrency transactions and NFTs. Moreover, Brig. Brig.

He also stated that the combination of AI and blockchain technology will make it possible to combat criminal threats, both internal and external. It will help to combat threats from the sea, air and land.
