Euro zone consumer confidence falls to -18.7 in March -Breaking

(Reuters) – Eurozone consumer confidence dropped by 9.9 points from February, according to figures published on Wednesday.

A flash estimate by the European Commission showed that consumer mood in euro zone fell to 18.7 from -8.8 during February.

Reuters polled economic experts and predicted a decline to -12.9.

The European Union in its entirety saw consumer sentiment fall by 9.4 percentage points to -19.6.
